Privacy policy
What review.gift collects, what it doesn't, and who else is involved when you visit. It's short because we collect very little.
Last updated
This policy covers review.gift.
The short version
We don’t use cookies for analytics, we don’t run ads, and there are no accounts, logins or comment forms. We can’t identify you.
What we collect
Page statistics. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics. It doesn’t use cookies or fingerprint visitors. It tells us which pages were viewed, roughly which country the visits came from, and which site sent them. It doesn’t tell us anything about you personally.
Server logs. Cloudflare hosts the site. It keeps short-lived logs, including IP addresses, to deliver the site and protect it from attacks. Cloudflare’s own privacy policy covers those.
Emails you send us. If you email us, we keep the email so we can reply.
What we don’t collect
- Advertising or analytics cookies
- Cross-site tracking
- Accounts, passwords or payment details. Nothing is sold on this site.
- Personal details about reviewers. When we quote a public review, we name the website it came from, never the person, and we only quote a short extract.
Affiliate links
The buy buttons are affiliate links. When you click one you leave this site, and the shop (Amazon, Etsy or another) may set its own cookies to record that we sent you. Their privacy policy applies there, not ours. The affiliate disclosure explains how this works.
We don’t use scripts that rewrite links or set cookies while you read.
Your rights
We don’t hold personal data about you, so there’s usually nothing to show you or delete. If you’ve emailed us and want that deleted, ask and we’ll delete it.
If this changes
Adding ads or Google Analytics would change what runs on this site. If we do, we’ll update this page and date the change. Visitors in the UK, EU and Switzerland will be asked for consent before anything non-essential loads.
